His area of specialization in research is ‘Punjabi Ghazal’ and research work on “Prampragat Punjabi Ghazal Kav Da Rachna Vidanik Adhiyan “(Sadhu Singh Hamdard, Deepak Jaitoi , Takkhat Singh Ate Gurdev Nirdhan De Vishesh Sandarbh Vich) in 2010. He is a member of various clubs and committees like :- Deputy Dean EMA ,SAC, Fee concession Committee, Incharge Canteen and Tuck shop Committee. He is a member of Punjabi Sahit Academy. He has been performing his duty as NSS programme officer since 2014. He attended National level conferences at Panjab University, Chandigarh and Punjabi University, Patiala. He attended one orientation course and three Refresher courses at different universities. He has been performing his duty as stage secretary in cultural and sports functions since 1990.
