She did her graduation from D.A.V College, Malout and secured 2nd position in college .Thereafter she did her Professional degree in education from Dasmesh Girls College of Education, Badal and was honored by the C.M of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal for securing 3rd position in the college. She completed her post graduation in English from Gopi Chand Arya Mahila College, Abohar (re- accredited ‘A’ by NAAC). She actively participated in co-curricular activities during her academic years, particularly her participation in the youth festivals for five years consecutively in painting and creative writing. She has been working as assistant professor in the department of English at D.A.V College, Malout since 2014.
